1. Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour price has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the tour.
If the remaining balance is not paid on time, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.
Payment methods and payment instructions will be provided during the booking process.
2. Minimum Participants
Tours require a minimum number of participants in order to operate.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour.
In such cases, all payments made by participants will be refunded in full.
The organizer is not responsible for additional expenses such as flights, accommodation, insurance, or other personal travel costs.
3. Cancellation by Participant
Cancellations must be made in writing.
– More than 90 days before the tour: full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
– 61–89 days before the tour: 50% refund of the total tour price.
– 60 days or less before the tour: no refund will be issued.
The organizer cannot be held responsible for personal circumstances preventing participation.
Participants are strongly advised to arrange appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, medical emergencies, and trip interruption.
4. Cancellation by Organizer
The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a tour due to:
– weather conditions
– safety concerns
– force majeure
– insufficient participant numbers
– operational or logistical reasons
In such cases, participants will receive a refund of payments made to the organizer.
The organizer is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, including flights, accommodation, insurance, equipment rental, or other travel-related costs.
5. Liability
Participation in all tours and workshops is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
Outdoor and wildlife-related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to severe weather, wildlife encounters, remote environments, transportation risks, and physical activity.
The organizer is not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, theft, delay, inconvenience, or damage to personal property unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the tour.
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the organizer, guides, or local operators.
The organizer reserves the right to remove a participant from a tour without refund if their behavior endangers the safety of the group, wildlife, local regulations, or the operation of the tour.
7. Travel Insurance
Participants are required to have adequate travel insurance covering:
– medical emergencies
– evacuation and rescue
– trip cancellation or interruption
– personal belongings and camera equipment
Proof of insurance may be requested before the start of the tour.
8. Itinerary Changes
Tour itineraries may be adjusted due to weather conditions, wildlife activity, safety considerations, transportation availability, operational requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Wildlife sightings and specific photographic opportunities cannot be guaranteed.
No refunds will be issued for itinerary changes resulting from such circumstances.
9. Image Rights
The organizer may take photographs or video recordings during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in such material must notify the organizer in writing before the tour begins.
All photographs taken by participants during the tour remain the intellectual property of the respective participant.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Switzerland.
