Hi, I’m Magda Swiecka,
a trained expedition guide ↓,
nature and wildlife photographer / videographer ↓.
Passionate about wild places and wildlife, I use visual storytelling to reveal the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of the natural world.
Much of my work is rooted in the belief that visual storytelling can foster awareness, respect, and protection for the natural world. I focus on capturing raw, intimate moments in nature—working with light, silence, and movement to bring untold stories to life.
My gear:
– Cameras: Nikon Z8 & Nikon Z7 II
– NIKKOR Z 600 mm f/4 TC VR S
– NIKKOR Z 400 mm f/4,5 VR S
– NIKKOR Z 70–200 mm f/2,8 VR S
– NIKKOR Z 24–70 mm f/2,8 S
– DJI AIR 3 & DJI Mini 4 Pro
I create visual stories that reflect the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of the natural world. My work focuses on wildlife behavior, natural landscapes, and remote environments—captured with an eye for detail, light, and authenticity.
Whether you’re looking for still images or cinematic footage, I offer high-quality photography and video content tailored for conservation campaigns, editorial features, expeditions, ecotourism, or brand storytelling. My approach is rooted in patience, respect for wildlife, and a deep understanding of natural environments.
You can explore my selected work in the Galleries section – more content coming soon. If you’re interested in collaborating, feel free to get in touch—I’d love to hear about your project.
Selected images are available as fine art prints—ideal for bringing the quiet beauty of nature into homes, studios, or workspaces. Each print is carefully curated, professionally produced, and available in a range of sizes and finishes.
Licensing is also available for editorial, commercial, and environmental projects. If you’re looking for specific visuals, I offer both curated selections and custom licensing based on your needs.
An online shop for prints will be launching soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact me for print inquiries, custom orders, or image licensing.
You can also explore selected work in the Galleries — with new content being added regularly.
Wildlife photography workshops are currently in development and will be announced soon. These experiences will focus on immersive, small-group learning in natural environments—combining field practice, creative exploration, and ethical wildlife photography.
In the meantime, I’m open to organizing private and group workshops on request. If you’re interested in learning more about field techniques, composition, or how to photograph wildlife respectfully—including specific species, animals, or birds—feel free to get in touch to discuss a custom experience.
If you have a preferred destination or special interest, I’d love to hear from you—your input may help shape upcoming workshops.
I offer engaging talks and lectures on the theory and techniques of nature and wildlife photography, sharing insights from my personal experience and fieldwork. These presentations can also cover stories and lessons from wildlife trips, enriched with information about animal behavior and species ecology.
Whether for educational events, conservation organizations, or private groups, my goal is to inspire appreciation and understanding of the natural world through both visual storytelling and science-based knowledge.
If you’re interested in booking a talk or tailoring a lecture to your audience, please get in touch.
With a background in wildlife photography and videography, I work in challenging environments with patience, respect, and purpose. I enjoy sharing knowledge with guests—through informal field interpretation or structured lectures on polar wildlife, marine mammals, and birdlife.
I also explore the landscapes themselves, offering lectures and field insights on glaciology, geology, and the natural forces that shape the polar regions. By linking ice, rock, and wildlife, I help guests see the polar world as a connected system.
For me, guiding is about more than logistics—it’s about creating meaningful experiences where science, storytelling, and respect for nature come together. With strong outdoor experience and a safety-first mindset, I aim to inspire curiosity while ensuring guests feel supported in remote environments.
